The SCAD women's soccer team delivered a dominant performance against Thomas University, securing a decisive 8-1 victory on Saturday.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 4-1-1 for the season. Thomas University is now 3-3-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED: SCAD took control of the match early, with Sydney Chura opening the scoring in the 16th minute, assisted by Aleca Garcia Velaza. Abigail Siddall doubled the lead in the 28th minute with an assist from Ines Sommer. Just two minutes later, Lane Lieberman converted a penalty kick to make it 3-0.
In the second half, Chura continued her impressive form, scoring again in the 58th and 69th minutes. Mia Gomez added to the tally with a goal in the 82nd minute, assisted by Lovisa Henell. Chura finished with four goals, sealing the comprehensive win for SCAD.
