Savannah, Ga. - SCAD is delighted to introduce Justin Martinson as the new Golf Assistant Coach!
"I am excited for Justin to be a part of SCAD Golf," states Head Coach Chris Kamys. "His experience and knowledge of the game will be a major addition to our team!"
Justin's competitive spirit and dedication to golf led him to the University of Delaware. During his tenure, he was victorious in six collegiate events: the Colonial Athletic Association Conference Championship (2010), the Philadelphia Amateur (2010), the Delaware Amateur (2010), and the Delaware Open (2009 and 2011).
Justin graduated from college in 2011, yet that didn't stop him from continuing to pursue golf. He then turned to professional play, where he spent 10 years perfecting his game at the Web.com tour (Korn Ferry Tour) and PGA Tour Monday Qualifiers while maintaining a rigorous mini-tour schedule, including the Hooters NGA Tour, eGolf Tour, and Swingthought Tour.
In 2021, he made a career shift when he became the First Assistant Golf Professional at Crosswinds Golf Club in Savannah, GA.
"It is a tremendous honor to become part of the SCAD Athletics Staff. I hope to be of service to all my fellow staff members and to go above and beyond the expectations of my position." Justin said.
