BRUNSWICK, Ga. - The No. 20 SCAD men's tennis team fell 4-3 to No. 10 College of Coastal Georgia on Wednesday.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 2-4, 0-1 SUN, while the Mariners improved to 3-1, 1-0 SUN.
DOUBLES POINT: SCAD won the doubles point – winning at number two and three doubles – to take an early 1-0 lead over the No. 10 Coastal Georgia team.
- No. 1 Doubles – Ozernoy/Lopez Cruz: L, 6-1
- No. 2 Doubles – Stoica/Tryakshin: W, 6-4
- No. 3 Doubles – Jaupart/Dong: W, 6-3
SINGLES ACTION: The Bees took a 3-1 lead with wins at number one singles and number four singles, but it would not be enough as the Mariners rallied to win at numbers two, three, five, and six singles to earn the 4-3 win.
