Men’s Golf Finishes Ninth at the Coastal Georgia Winter Invite

WAVERLY, Ga. – The SCAD men's golf team finished ninth at the two-day College of Coastal Georgia Winter Invite on Monday-Tuesday.

TOURNAMENT DETAILS:

Course: The Golf Club at Sanctuary Cove
Par: 72
Yardage: 7123
Teams: 16
Individuals: 88

TEAM RESULTS: The Bees finished ninth in the two-day, three-round event with a score of 924 (300, 309, 315). No. 2 Keiser University won the event with a score of 888.

INDIVIDUAL RESULTS: Max Fallenius was SCAD's top finisher, tying for 27^th with a three-round score of 228 (73, 76, 79).

Gabriel Velasco and Luke Guthrie tied for 36^th and 45^th with their respective scores of 230 (73, 77, 80) and 233 (77, 79, 77).

Felix Straub, playing as an individual, tied for 49^th after shooting a 234 (82, 77, 75).

With a score of 240 (83, 78, 79), Samuel Murray tied for 60^th, while Jensen Rainey finished in 65^th with a score of 242 (77, 78, 87).

WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will compete in the Savannah Intercollegiate at the Club at Savannah Harbor on February 17-18.
