SAVANNAH, Ga. - The No. 14 SCAD women's soccer team continued their impressive season with a convincing 3-0 victory over Ave Maria University on Wednesday..
RECORDS: The Bees improve to 11-1-1 (5-0-0) for the season, while Ave Maria falls to 5-3-4 (2-2-3).
HOW IT HAPPENED: SCAD took control early and broke through in the 27th minute when Abigail Siddall found the net for her eighth goal of the season. The Bees maintained their pressure throughout the first half, outshooting Ave Maria 12-7.
The second half saw SCAD extend their lead in the 55th minute through Ida Akesson's third goal of the season. Siddall would complete her brace in the 76th minute, scoring her ninth goal of the season off an assist from Sydney Chura to seal the 3-0 victory.
SCAD demonstrated their offensive dominance throughout the match, recording 27 shots to Ave Maria's 8, while also earning 14 corner kicks.
