BOONE, N.C. – On Friday, the SCAD men's and women's cross country teams opened the season at the NCAA DI heavy Firetower Project Run hosted by Appalachian State University.
 
MEN'S RESULTS: The men's team ran an 8K course, and the Bees' top finisher was freshman Max Heins, running a 26:33.30 to finish 48^th out of the 128-runner field.
