SAVANNAH, Ga. – The No. 24 SCAD men's tennis team hosted No. 9 Middle Georgia State University on Friday afternoon and fell 4-2.
 
RECORDS: The Bees are now 2-9, while the Knights advance to 8-4.
 
DOUBLES ACTION: The pair of Danil Ozernoy and David Lopez Cruz won 6-1 against Middle Georgia State at number one doubles while Liam Stoica and Johan Karlsson won at number three doubles, 6-4, to give SCAD their first point.
 
The Knights won 6-4 over the pair of Nicola Buffo (Legnago, Italy / Social Strategy and Management) and Mark Tryakshin at number two doubles.
 
SINGLES ACTION: Mark Tryakshin (Tashkent, Uzbekistan / Digital Media) won the Bees second point at number one doubles with scores of 6-3, 6-4.
 
At number two singles, Danil Ozernoy (Almaty, Kazakhstan / Advertising and Branding) fell 3-6, 2-6 while Johan Karlsson (Eskilstuna, Sweden / Architecture) and David Lopez Cruz (Sevilla, Spain / Interactive Design / Game Development) lost 1-6, 3-6 and 1-6, 3-6 at numbers four and five singles, respectively.
 
Carson O'Hara (Meridian, Idaho / User Experience (UX) Design), at number six singles, fell 2-6, 4-6. Middle Georgia State was able to win majority of singles points before Liam Stoica (Auckland, New Zealand / User Experience (UX) Design) was able to finish at number three singles. He had a tied game at 6-2, 2-6.
