Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The No. 24 SCAD men's tennis team traveled to Miami Gardens, Fla. on Friday competing against No. 17 St. Thomas University, losing 6-1.
 
RECORDS: The Bees are now 2-7, 0-3 SUN while the Bobcats advance to 11-6, 2-2 SUN.
 
DOUBLES ACTION: The pair of Ozernoy and Lopez Cruz won 6-3 against St. Thomas at number one doubles.
 
Tryakshin and Karlsson lost 5-7 at number two singles while Stocia and O'Hara fell at number three singles with a score of 0-6 to give the Bobcats the doubles point.
 
SINGLES ACTION: Liam Stoica (Auckland, New Zealand / User Experience (UX) Design) was the only Bees to win at singles. He won 6-3, 6-3 at number three singles.
 
Mark Tryakshin (Tashkent, Uzbekistan / Digital Media) lost at number one singles with scores of 4-6, 6-7(2) while Danil Ozernoy (Almaty, Kazakhstan / Advertising and Branding) lost 4-6, 7-5 at number two singles.
 
At number four singles, Johan Karlsson (Eskilstuna, Sweden / Architecture) fell 0-6, 0-6 while David Lopez Cruz (Sevilla, Spain / Interactive Design / Game Development) and Carson O'Hara (Meridian, Idaho / User Experience (UX) Design) lost 3-6, 6-1, 8-10 and 3-6, 0-6 at numbers five and six, respectively.
