SAVANNAH, Ga. – The No. 22 SCAD men's tennis team hosted No. 16 Coastal Georgia on Wednesday and fell 4-3.
 
RECORDS: The Bees are now 0-2, 0-1 SUN while the Mariners are 1-0, 1-0 SUN.
 
DOUBLES ACTION: The pair of Mark Tryakshin and Johan Karlsson won 6-1 against the Mariners at number two doubles.
 
Coastal Georgia won 6-3 over the pair of David Lopez Cruz and Danil Ozernoy at number one doubles and 6-2 over Liam Stoica and Eddie Wade (Cincinnati, Ohio / Fashion Marketing and Management) at number three doubles to earn the doubles point.
 
SINGLES ACTION: Mark Tryakshin (Tashkent, Uzbekistan / Digital Media) won the Bees first point at number one singles with scores of 6-2, 7-5 while Danil Ozernoy (Almaty, Kazakhstan / Advertising and Branding), in number two singles, won SCAD's second point with scores of 6-3, 7(5)-6(0).
 
In number three singles, Liam Stoica (Auckland, New Zealand / User Experience (UX) Design) won 4-6, 6-2, and 7(8)-6(6) giving the Bees their third and final point.
 
At number four singles, Johan Karlsson (Eskilstuna, Sweden / Architecture) fell 3-6, 3-6 while David Lopez Cruz (Sevilla, Spain / Interactive Design / Game Development) and Carson O'Hara (Meridian, Idaho / User Experience (UX) Design) lost 6-4, 2-6, 1-6 and 6(0)-7(7), 2-6 at the numbers five and six, respectively.
