Women’s Cross Country Finishes 16th at NAIA National Championship, Men Send Individuals

VANCOUVER, Wash. – The SCAD women's cross country team finished 16th at the NAIA National Championship while the men's team sent Max Heins and Tom Schroeder to run as individuals.
 
DID YOU KNOW? This is the highest finish for the women's team since placing 12th in the 2005 NAIA National Championship.
 
WOMEN'S RESULTS: SCAD's top finisher was Alex Midgett who placed 53rd with a 6K time of 23:02.1. Edith Manfred finished in 99th with a time of 23:34.7.

The Bees finished in 16th, in the field of 36, with 454 points. The College of Idaho won the event with 68 points.
 
MEN'S RESULTS: Max Heins was SCAD's top finisher, placing 137th overall in the 8K with a time of 26:32.2. Tom Schroeder finished in 243rd with a time of 27:29.4
