Men’s Cross Country Fourth at Royals Challenge, No. 23 Women Finish in Ninth

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The SCAD men's cross country team finished fourth in the Blue Race at the Royals Challenge while the women's team finished in ninth in the Gold Race.
 
MEN'S RESULTS: The men's team ran an 8K course and finished fourth out of 24 teams, besting Sun Conference foe Southeastern in the process.
 
The Bees' top finisher was Tom Schroeder placing third in the field of 216 with an 8K time of 26:20.87. Max Heins placed fourth with a time of 26:20.95.

WOMEN'S RESULTS: The No. 23 ranked women's team finished the 5K in ninth out of 29 teams, beating No. 13 Cumberlands who finished 12th overall.
 
Alex Midgett was SCAD's top finisher, placing 18th in the field of 243 with a time of 18:18.68.
