SAVANNAH, Ga. – The No. 3 SCAD League of Legends officially made the playoffs within the Eastern College Athletic Conference.

SCAD clutched a 2-1 win against No. 6 the Catholic University of America on April 7th. After a back and forth series, the Bees prevailed victorious after pulling off a strong late-game scaling team composition.

On Friday, they went on to face No. 2 Johnson & Wales. The SCAD Bees ended the night with a clean 2-0 upset.

"We've prepared all week for this match as we knew we were the lower seeded team. The team is really coming together to put in our maximum effort into learning about League of Legends' new champions and changes. We are looking forward to our match versus Penn State next week to see what preparation they have done as well."– Nick Daigle, Head Coach of eSports – SCAD.

WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will go on to play in the Finals Match of the Eastern College Athletic Conference against No. 1 Penn State Behrend on April 22nd.
