SAVANNAH, Ga. – The No. RV SCAD men's tennis team hosted No. RV College of Coastal Georgia on Saturday and lost 6-1.
 
RECORDS: The Bees are now 2-3, 1-2 SUN while the Mariners are 2-1, 2-1 SUN.
 
DOUBLES ACTION: Liam Stoica and Rodrigo Zapata won the only doubles match with a 6-4 win at number three doubles.
 
Unfortunately, it was not enough as Coastal Georgia won 7-5 over Mark Tryakshin and Nicola Buffo at number one doubles and 6-1 over Eloy Veloso and Eddie Wade at number two doubles to earn the doubles point.
 
SINGLES ACTION: Mark Tryakshin (Tashkent, Uzebekistan / Digital Media) won SCAD's only point with his 7-5, 6-2 win at number one doubles.
 
Liam Stoica (Auckland, New Zealand / User Experience (UX) Design) lost 6-4, 6-1 at number two singles while Eloy Veloso (Mar Del Plata, Argentina / Digital Media) lost 6-2, 6-2 at number three singles.
 
At number four singles, Nicola Buffo (Legnago, Italy / Social Strategy and Management) lost 6-2, 2-7, 8-10 while Rodrigo Zapata (Lima, Peru / Architecture) and Eddie Wade (Cincinnati, Ohio / Fashion Marketing and Management) lost 6-0, 6-1 in the numbers five and six spots, respectively.
