Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Over two days, the No. RV SCAD men's tennis team competed against No. 18 St. Thomas University and are coming away with a 3-4 loss.
 
RAIN DELAY: The match started on Saturday (2/19) but due to inclement weather it was postponed until Sunday (2/20). At the stop on Saturday, the Bees were up 3-2 with the Bobcats.
 
RECORDS: The Bees are now 2-2, 1-1 SUN while the Bobcats are now 4-0, 2-0 SUN.
 
DOUBLES: SCAD won the doubles point as Veloso/Wade won 6-4 at number two doubles while Stoica/Zapata won 6-3 at number three doubles.
 
Tryakshin/Buffo lost 4-6 at number one doubles.
 
SINGLES: Mark Tryakshin (Tashkent, Uzebekistan / Digital Media) won 6-4, 6-1 at number one singles while Liam Stoica (Auckland, New Zealand / User Experience (UX) Design) won 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 at number two singles.
 
Eloy Veloso (Mar Del Plata, Industrial Design) lost 6-1, 6-1 at number three singles while Nicola Buffo (Legnago, Italy / Social Strategy and Management) fell 3-6, 6-2, 3-6 in the number four spot.
 
At number five singles, Rodrigo Zapata (Lima, Peru / Architecture) lost 0-6, 2-6 and Eddie Wade (Cincinnati, Ohio / Fashion Marketing and Management) lost 1-6, 2-6 at number six singles.
