No. 12 Women’s Soccer Celebrates Senior Day With a 6-0 Win

HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – The No. 12 SCAD women's soccer team hosted St. Thomas University for senior day on Saturday and dominated 6-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Ines Sommer (Lisbon, Portugal / Film and Television) scored SCAD's first four goals, three in the first quarter and one in the second, with four assists from Berglind Baldursdottir (Kopavogur, Architecture / Architecture), Abigail Siddall (Plymouth, Mich. / Film and Television), Mia Gomez (Austin, Texas / Graphic Design & Advertising and Branding) and Filippa Bjare (Saltsjobaden, Stockholm, Sweden / Architecture), respectively.
  • Lane Lieberman (Chevy Chase, Md. / Visual Communication) scored the Bees' fifth goal at the 56th-minute off a penalty kick.
  • SCAD's last goal was by Gomez, giving them the 6-0 win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
  • Sommer led the Bee's offense with four goals on four shots followed by Lieberman with one goal on one shot.
  • Gomez had one goal on three shots and one assist.
  • Bjare had one assist and one shot while Baldursdottir had one assist and three shots.
