PULASKI, Tenn. – The No. 25 SCAD women's soccer team ended its season on Saturday with a 6-1 loss to No. 4 Tennessee Southern in the second round of the NAIA National Championship.

Freshman
Sydney Chura (Milford, Mich.) broke two records this season, points in a single season and goals in a single season. Chura broke the goals in a single season with her goal tonight against UT Southern, giving her 20 on the season, besting the previous record by one goal.
RECORDS: SCAD ends the season with a 13-6-1 overall record while the Firehawks improve to 20-1-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED? In the first half, UT Southern took control, scoring five goals and taking 17 shots to the Bees' five shots to go into halftime with a 5-0 lead.
In the second half, SCAD out-shot the Firehawks 7-6. Unfortuntely, it was not enough as UT Southern scored their sixth goal at the 51:48 mark.
Just under eight minutes later, Chura scored the last goal of the game off an assist from
Abigail Siddall (Plymouth, Mich. / Film and Television) to put the Bees on the board (1-6).
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: SCAD totaled 12 shots (six on goal) to UT Southern's 23 (11 on goal). The Bees took two corner kicks and goalie
Paige Hickman (Aurora, Colo. / Animation) nabbed five saves in her 90 minutes of work.
Chura and Siddall totaled four shots each with Chura scoring a goal and Siddall getting the assist.
Berglind Baldursdottir (Kopavogur, Iceland / Architecture),
Pauline Watta (Rheine, Germany) and
Ines Sommer (Lisbon, Portugal / Film and Television) totaled one shot each.
