QUICK GOAL: The No. 1 SCAD women's lacrosse team set three new single game records – goals, assists and points – in the Bees' 31-3 win over Appalachian Athletic Conference opponent Tennessee Wesleyan.
RECORDS: The Bees improve to 7-0, 4-0 AAC while the Bulldogs are now 2-3, 1-1 AAC.
SINGLE GAME RECORDS: SCAD broke three single game team records tonight with 31 goals, 25 assists for 56 points. The previous goal record was 29, the previous assist record was 19 and the previous point record was 49.
GOALS GALORE: SCAD did not let a location change (SCAD Athletics Complex to Memorial Stadium) or the fact that the game started an hour later affect them as they jumped to a 4-0 lead two minutes into the game.
Mackenzie DeMott (Dix Hills, N.Y. / Fashion) got the scoring started when she scored off an assist from
Jordan Mitchell (Tualatin, Ore. / Photography) 12 seconds into the game.
Sydney Knego (Potomac Falls, Va. / Advertising and Branding) added two goals and
Aly De Caro (El Dorado Hills, Calif. / Advertising and Branding) one within the first two minutes of action.
The Bulldogs scored their first of the game at the 27:02 mark but it was the only goal of the first half for Tennessee Wesleyan.
The Bees scored 14 more goals – Knego (2),
Sophia Milia (Birmingham, Mich. / Business of Beauty and Fragrance), Mitchell,
Keagan Plume (Glen Arm, Md. / Architecture),
Madeline Collins (Charlotte, N.C. / Fashion),
Allison Thierry (Stevensville, Md. / Interior Design), DeMott (4),
Mae Dougherty (Cumberland, Maine / Interior Design) and
Taylor Rosenfeld (Nanuet, N.Y. / User Experience (UX) Design) (2) – in the first half to take an 18-1 lead into halftime.
SCAD put on their second scoring clinic of the night with 13 more goals in the second half to Tennessee Wesleyan's two.

Grace Boyer (Stevensville, Md. / Interior Design), Thierry, De Caro and
Harper Barth (Culver City, Calif. / Advertising and Branding) all found the back of the net in the second half to end the game with a 31-3 win.
ASSISTS ABOUND: Mitchell got the assist game rolling with three back-to-back assists to start the game. The junior went on to total eight of the Bees' 25 assists.
Ten more Bees totaled at least one assist with Barth tallying four. Plume, Milia, Thierry and Jackson all tallied two assists while Knego, De Caro, Dougherty, DeMott and
Isabelle Corns (McCordsville, Ind. / Animation) nabbed one.
BOX SCORE: DeMott led the offensive charge with eight goals and one assist to tie a game high nine points.
Knego tallied six goals and one assist for seven points while L. McCormick had three goals. Thierry, De Caro and Rosenfeld totaled two goals while Mitchell, Barth, Plume Milia, Jackson, Dougherty, Boyer and Collins added one each.
Sydney Bowers (Lake Worth, Fla. / Film and Television) totaled four ground balls while also picking up two caused turnovers.
Knego and Mitchell totaled eight and seven draw controls, respectively while Plume added three.
Goalies
Haley McCullough (Litits, Pa. / Illustration) and
Tracy Richards (Poway, Calif. / Visual Effects) split time in the cage and picked up four saves each.
