QUICK GOAL: The SCAD men's soccer team opened Sun Conference action with a 3-2 win over Thomas University.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Just under eight minutes into the game,
Tom Barry scored his first of two goals to give the Bees an early 1-0 lead.
Matteo Tizzano increased SCAD's lead with a goal of his own with 19 seconds remaining in the first half.
Thomas scored the first goal of the second half in the 46
thminute to cut the Bees' lead in half.
Barry scored his second goal of the game at the 51:10 mark to give SCAD the 3-1 lead. The Night Hawks scored the last goal of the game at the 79:31 mark to come within one.
BOX SCORE: Barry led the offensive front for the Bees with two goals on five shots.
Ty Bennett totaled two shots while
Jayden Corbridge,
Jake Colclough, Tizzano and
Jesus Ulloa totaled one shot with Tizzano's shot finding the back of the net.
