Men’s Tennis Falls to Coastal Georgia

QUICK HIT: The SCAD Savannah men's tennis team fell to College of Coastal Georgia 1-8.
 
RECORDS: The Bees fall to 1-7, 1-4 TSC while Coastal Georgia improves to 11-4, 6-1 TSC.
 
DOUBLES ACTION: SCAD started down 0-3 at the completion of doubles.
 
Daiki Nakaand Liam Stoicafell 8-9 at the number one spot. Eloy Velosoand Sebastian Nunezfell 4-8 at number two doubles.
 
Tayler Ayersand Mateo Fernandezlost at number three doubles 5-8.

SINGLES ACTION: Naka fought and earned the single win for the Bees. He defeated his number two singles opponent 7-6, 7-5.
 
Stoica fell 1-6,1-6 at number one singles. Nunez, at number three singles, lost in a third-set tiebreaker, 3-6, 6-2, 7-10. 
 
Matthew Kastritis, at number four singles, and Veloso at number five singles, both lost 1-6, 1-6 in their matches. 
 
Ayers fell 2-6, 2-6 at the number six spot.
 
COACH O: "The men's Bees had a tough one today with opportunities in the doubles and singles. Daiki played a brilliant match and was the solo win today. Losing is only temporary and not all encompassing. Try to study and learn from it so we can move forward. We have several quality matches still ahead so we need to forget about the past and prepare to win again."
