DOUBLES ACTION: Liam Stoica and Eloy Veloso fought hard but lost 8-7 (7-2)
at number one doubles while
Daiki Naka and
Sebastian Nunez fell 8-6 at number two doubles.
Romano Natale and Matthew Kastritis fell 8-5 at the third singles spot.
SINGLES ACTION: Veloso won 6-3, 6-3 at the third singles spot, securing a win for SCAD. Naka, at the number two singles, also won due to his opponent retiring.
Stoica fell 6-4, 6-3 at number one singles while Nunez lost 7-5, 6-4 at number four singles.
Natale lost 6-1, 6-1 while Kastritis lost 6-1, 6-3 at number five and six singles, respectively.
ACCORDING TO COACH O: "The Men's team was ready for a tough match and they got one" stated Head Coach
Ken Obermeier." Unfortunately we were unable to capitalize on those opportunities. The singles matches were tough and we were not able to complete the game plan.
Eloy Veloso however executed his game plan extremely well and won in straight sets."
