QUICK HIT: The SCAD men's tennis team fell 3-6 to Warner University on Saturday at home.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 0-5, 0-4 TSC while the Royals are now 2-6, 2-4 TSC.
DOUBLES ACTION: Liam Stoica and Eloy Veloso fell 8-6 at number one doubles.
Daiki Naka and Sebastian Nunezfell 8-5 at number one doubles while
Mateo Fernandez and
Matthew Kastritis lost 8-5.
SINGLES ACTION: Stoica, Naka, and Nunez earned the three points for the Bees.
Stoica defeated his opponent 6-1, 6-4 at number one singles.
Naka won 6-3, 6-2 at the number two spot. Nunez won in a tight match 3-6, 6-2, 11-9.
Veloso fell 6-1, 6-2 at the number three spot.Kastritis dropped 6-0, 6-0 at the five spot while Fernandez fell 6-4, 6-0 at six.
COACH O'S THOUGHTS: "The men had several good opportunities this week in both doubles and singles matches, however they were unable to convert and maintain match momentum," states Head Coach
Ken Obermeier. "I have no doubt that in the upcoming matches we will continue to develop and capitalize on our opportunities."
