QUICK RUN: The SCAD women's cross country team finished second at the 2019 Sun Conference Championships.
TEAM SCORE: The Bees totaled 48 points for second place. Southeastern won the event with 34 points.
INDIVIDUAL CHAMPION: Junior
Lemi Wutz won the event by 13 seconds, and was the only runner to finish under 18:00 minutes, with a time of 17:53.
FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR: Just behind Wutz, Freshman
Julia Gralki finished in third with a time of 18:14. With this time and place, Gralki was named the Freshman of the Year.
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS: Sarah Foreman finished in 13
th with a time of 19:27.14 while
Kaitlyn Sauickie (20:02) and
Ivy Zingone (20:09) rounded out the scoring with 16
th and 17
th place finishes.
Lara Federerspiel finished with a time of 21:14 while
Sarah Kiehle had a time of 21:54 and
Catherine Saucier finished with a time of 23:42.

COACH KROUT: "I'm very pleased with effort by the ladies today" stated Head Coach
Brandon Krout. "They went out and competed against a team that was very deep and very good and ranked eighth in the nation. We came out and showed what we are made of, which is very exciting to watch and see."
ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE: Prior to the meet, at the awards banquet Friday night, five runners were named to the All-Academic Team –

Valentina Garcia,
Sarah Foreman and
Sarah Kiehle.
