High Scoring Game Leads to TSC Win for Women’s Soccer

QUICK GOAL: The SCAD women's soccer team totaled 11 goals in their 11-0 win over visiting Sun Conference opponent Florida Memorial University Sunday afternoon.
 
RECORDS: The Bees are now 5-4, 2-1 TSC while the Lions are 0-9, 0-4 TSC.
 
DID YOU KNOW? This game was originally supposed to be played on Saturday, October 5thbut was postponed due to inclement weather.
 
DOUBLE HAT TRICK: Sam Manelis and Kaytee D'Andrea totaled three goals each for a hat trick, accounting for six of SCAD's 11 goals.
 
Manelis scored the first goal of the game followed by the third and fourth goals. D'Andrea scored the ninth, 10thand 11thgoals of the game.
 
BOX SCORE: Manelis and D'Andrea led the offense with three goal each while Gabrielle Oudemool-Slye added two goals.
 
Tamara Castilla, Madison Lambert and Sofia Jonson all totaled one goal. 
 
Oudemool-Slye added two assists with Riley Shelton and Annie Sullivan tallying one assist a piece.
 
The Bees' defense held the Lions to zero shots while goalies Eliana Charalambous and Harper Brock shared time in the goal.
 
WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees remain at home to host Thomas University on Wednesday, October 9 at 6:00 p.m.
