QUICK GOAL: The SCAD women's soccer team traveled to Miami Gardens, Florida for a Sun Conference match-up with St. Thomas University and lost 3-1.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 6-9, 3-5 TSC this season while the Bobcats improve to 7-6-1, 4-5-1 TSC.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Despite a scoreless first half and scoring the first goal of the game, SCAD was not able to hang on and suffered a tough 3-1 loss.
Neither team scored in the first half of the game with SCAD managing three shots during that time.
In the second-half, the Bees scored the first goal of the game at the 60:49 mark when
Hannah Amidon found the back of the net on a penalty kick.
Unfortunately, the Bobcats scored three unanswered goals during the remainder of the game to earn the 3-1 win.
BOX SCORE: SCAD totaled five shots, three on goal and two corner kicks.
Amidon was one for one with one shot and one goal.
Thorhanna Omarsdottir and
Emily Castro totaled one shot on goal while
Stephanie Guerra and
Rebecca Watson took on shot each.

Natalia McElrath tallied four saves in her 90 minutes of work.
