No. 1 Women’s Lacrosse Celebrates Senior Day With A Win

Box Score QUICK STORY: Six Bees combined for 14 goals in the No. 1 SCAD Savannah's women's lacrosse team's 15-5 win over the visiting NCAA Division II North Greenville University Crusaders.

RECORDS: The Bees improve to 10-1 overall this season while the Crusaders are 7-8.
 
DID YOU KNOW? This is the tenth game this season in which SCAD has scored 13 or more goals in a game.
 
SPREAD THE WEALTH: SCAD out-shot North Greenville 40-32 today.
 
Six Bees combined to score the 14 goals in the game. Sydney Knego led with five goals and two assists for seven points. Senior Joanna Ehatt tallied four goals and two assists for six points
 
Drew Dowgiallo had two goals and Senior Kirsten Carr scored one goal while Tess St. John and Taylor Vaccaro each totaled one.

Knego nabbed a game-high shot count at six while Vaccaro had four and Shannon Flaherty had three.

DEFENSE: Goalies Maggie Lortz and Olivia Vieira split time in the cage with Lortz nabbing six saves while Vieira had three.

OTHER STATS: The Bees totaled 22 ground balls to the Crusaders 13 with Flaherty picking up a team-high six.
 
Knego totaled a team-high four draw controls and Dowgiallo added one.
 
WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees remain at home on Saturday, April 22 to host Ava Maria at 11 a.m.
