Savannah, Georgia – The SCAD men's golf team opened its season with a duel against fifth-ranked USCB Tuesday at Savannah Harbor. USCB won the match 279-302.
Julian Dinsing shot even par, 72, to lead the Bees and finished fifth overall. Juan Restrepo finished with a 74, while Valentin Haack shot a 76. Rodrigo Soria and Andrew Carmichael rounded out the Bees lineup with an 80 and 82, respectfully.
USCB Cory Cottrell and Kirk Mitchell tied for the individual lead as they both shot 69.
Nicolas Fasoli, playing as an individual, carded a 73. Also playing as individual were Max Acevedo (78), Thomas Pisciottano (80), and Noah Curtis (82).
The Bees return to action September 27 when they travel to Valdosta, Georgia to compete in the Thomas University Invitational.
