Box Score Hardeeville, South Carolina - The second-ranked SCAD women's lacrosse team had ten different players net at least one goal as the Bees defeated Reinhardt 20-7 Sunday morning at the SCAD Athletic Complex. With the win the Bees improve to 4-0, while the Eagles drop to 2-2.
SCAD jumped out to the early lead as
Torii Clark found
Kayla Nelson for a goal to give the Bees a 1-0 lead. Minutes later,
Taylor Vaccaro found Clark cutting in front of the net for a goal. SCAD extended their lead to 3-0 as
Jordan Cook connected with
Joanna Ehatt for a goal. Reinhardt got on the board as Mary Kate Minick netted a goal to cut the lead to 3-1 with 22:44 remaining in the first half. The Bees responded with four unanswered goals, including two from Nelson, to take a 7-1 lead. After back-to-back Eagles goals,
Rebekah Kirkley netted an unassisted goal to extend the Bees lead to 8-3. SCAD scored nine out of the last ten goals in the first half to take a 17-4 lead into the break.
Reinhardt came out of the break scoring a goal on each of their first three possessions of the half to cut the lead to 17-7. Cook won the ensuing draw control and on the Bees' possession

Danni Cox and
Charlotte Walters scored back-to-back goals for the 20-7 final. The game was called after 84 minutes due to rain and poor field conditions.
Nelson led SCAD with seven points, while Vaccaro tallied four. Cook finished the day with three goals, two assists, and a team-high six draw controls.
Shannon Flaherty picked up a team-high five ground balls and three draw controls.
Jenny Danko improved to 4-0 on the season and made five saves in the win.
The Bees will return to action March 14 when they travel to Melbourne, Florida to face Florida Tech. Game time is set for noon.
