The Men's Tennis Team took a hard loss in the last conference match of the 2014 regular season.  It came down to the last two singles' matches to determine the winner and the Bees fell one victory short.
 
In doubles play the Bees lost 2 of the three matches.  No. 2 Darnell Sgubin and teammate Joao Freitas provided the only win when they broke Northwood late in the competition to take an 8-6 victory.  The other two competitions were just a service break short as both Nos.1 and 3 fell 5-8.
 
Needing 4 wins of the 5 remaining singles' matches proved to be too much for the Bees.  Although the Bees came out strong with 3 wins of the first 4 matches, SCAD could not win at Nos. 5 and 6, although Manatsa Mazimbe at No. 6 took his opponent to a tiebreaker in the second set.  SCAD fell short of a team victory by just one match.
 
SCAD ended its 2014 regular season at 4-8, and 3-4 in conference play.
