The men's doubles teams jumped out to some early leads on Warner University - 4-1 at No.2 and 7-3 at No.3, but could not put the matches away.  The men lost all three doubles points.
 
In singles play the men picked up the first point of the day when No.1 Joao Freitas battled fiercely and won his match when his opponent had to retire during the first set. Bobby Brand, playing at No.5, picked up SCAD's other point by winning in a third set tiebreaker 10-8.
 
The men took time to honor their graduating seniors on this day.  Jack Anton, Manatsa Mazimbe, and Darnell Sgubin have two regular season matches left on their schedule - one away match and one home match against Coastal Georgia and Northwood, respectively.  SCAD wants to thank these players for their contributions to the tennis program and their senior leadership.

The men are back in action on Sunday, April 13, when they travel to Brunswick, Georgia to take on Coastal Georgia.  Match play begins at 1 p.m.  The men then return home to finish out the regular season at Bacon Park against conference rival Northwood at 9 a.m.
