The Men's Tennis Team ran into a very good College of Coastal Georgia team in their home opener at Bacon Park this afternoon.  The men were only able to squeak out one win in singles match play in the day's competition. 
 
Jack Anton went three tough competitive sets, but came out a winner 6-4, 4-6, and 11-7.  The loss takes the Bees to 0-3 on the season.  SCAD does not start conference play until February 23 when they take on Southeastern University in their second of four home matches this season.

The men next travel to Orangeburg, SC to play three matches in two days.  They will face SC State University at 1 pm on 2/15 and then play two games on 2/16 against Benedict College at 9 am and Newberry College at 2 pm.  The Bees have a tough schedule this year in that they play eleven of their fifteen matches on the road.
