SCAD Men had a couple of matches against ranked teams and came out on the short end. The Bees, who had won the last three matches, were overpowered in the first contest against #16 ranked Warner University losing 8-1. Darnell Squbin was the only Bee who won his match. He did so in straight sets, 6-0 and 6-3.
The second match was against #18 ranked Webber International. The Bees came within one match of winning the contest.

Kaan Yaylali, and Darnell Squbin each won his singles match, leaving the hope of victory to the doubles matches. It was not to be. With
Romeo Juhasz and Squbin winning their match and
Manatsa Mazimbe losing theirs, the fifth win was left in the hands of Loock and Yaylali. It was a battle to the end, but they were unable to get the win. The final score in their match was a very, very, close 8-9.
SCAD drops to 3-8 overall and ends up 2-4 in the conference. The last scheduled match for the Bees is against Shorter University at 1 pm in Macon, Georgia.
