HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – Ten different players scored as the SCAD Savannah women's lacrosse team recorded a 21-5 victory over Shorter University Wednesday (April 13) evening at the SCAD Athletics Complex.
The Bees won their sixth in a row and in the process won their university-record 10th match of the season, one more than a year ago. SCAD, which is 10-4, concludes their season Saturday (April 16) with a 1 p.m. match against Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, Tenn.
Sophie Swan and
Chelsea Bernardo each scored four goals for the Bees, who scored eight unanswered goals in one stretch and seven in another.
Britney Lukowski had three goals while
Devin Dorsey,
Nicky Mula and
Samantha North registered two apiece.
Haley Fauvelle,
Jaclyn Scott,
Alexis Spaide and
Rachel Ackley had one each for the Bees. Dorsey assisted on three goals while Fauvelle and Swan had two each and Lukowski, Mula and Scott had one apiece.
Goalies
Quinn Baldacci (one) and
Lauren Alexander (four) combined for five saves in net for the Bees.
