CHICAGO – Chelsea Bernardo and
Sophie Swan combined for 11 goals as the SCAD Savannah women's lacrosse team defeated Indiana Institute of Technology 20-16 Sunday (April 10).
The Bees won their fifth consecutive match and improved to 9-4. SCAD returns to action Wednesday (April 13) when they host Shorter University in the final home match of the season at 7 p.m. at the SCAD Athletics Complex.
Swan led the Bees with six goals while Bernardo found the back of the net five times.
Devin Dorsey was the other SCAD player to score multiple times with three.
Alexis Spaide,
Britney Lukowski,
Jaclyn Scott,
Haley Fauvelle,
Nicky Mula and
Rachel Ackley each scored one. Fauvelle led SCAD with three assists while Swan and Dorsey had two apiece. Spaide and Scott had one assist each.

Lauren Alexander had 15 saves in net for the Bees.
