SAVANNAH, Ga. – The SCAD Savannah men's tennis team started their 2011 season on the right foot as they swept past the College of Coastal Georgia 9-0 in a non-conference match at the Bacon Park Tennis Courts Friday (Feb. 11) afternoon.

The 24th-ranked Bees improved to 1-0 while the Mariners fell to 0-1. SCAD returns to action next Friday (Feb. 18) when they travel to Macon, Ga., for a 2 p.m. match against Georgia College, who are ranked No. 12 in NCAA Division II.
