BABSON PARK, Fla. - Webber International University took an 8-1 The Sun Conference men's tennis victory over the Savannah College of Art and Design Saturday (Feb. 13) afternoon.

The 15th-ranked Warriors improved to 2-2 overall and to 2-0 in the conference while the 19th-ranked Bees fell to 0-1 and 0-1. SCAD returns to action Sunday (Feb. 14) with a 9 a.m. league contest against Warner University in Lake Wales, Fla.

Webber International took a 3-0 lead after doubles as the Warriors won the top two matches in tiebreakers. SCAD's Noah Moerkerken claimed the only win for the Bees in No. 4 singles as he outlasted Juuso Tapanainen 7-6 (5), 2-6, 19-17. It was one of three singles matches that were decided by a third-set super tiebreaker.
