ORLANDO, Fla. - Savannah College of Art and Design opened its 2009 men's tennis schedule with a 9-0 The Sun Conference decision over St. Thomas (Fla.) University Saturday (Feb. 7) afternoon at the Oak Street Park.

The Bees improved to 1-0 overall and in the conference while the Bobcats are 0-2 overall and 0-1 inside the conference. The Bees return to action Sunday at 2 p.m. when they face conference opponent Northwood (Fla.) University in a neutral-site match in Orlando.

SCAD recorded straight-set wins in each match.
