HARDEEVILLE, S.C. - The Savannah College of Art and Design women's lacrosse team lost two matches Saturday (Feb. 21) at the SCAD Athletics Complex. The Bees suffered a 14-11 setback to the University of Central Florida before recording a 26-10 loss to the University of South Carolina.

The Bees remained winless in four matches while Central Florida improved to 7-0 and South Carolina went to 2-1. SCAD returns to action March 2 with a 7:30 p.m. home contest against Wesley College.

SCAD trailed 11-2 at the half to Central Florida before rallying for nine second half goals. Allie John and Nicole Mula each registered for four goals apiece while Jaclyn Scott tallied two and Kim Caltagirone added one.

John led the scoring attack against the Gamecocks as she found the net four more times while Mula contributed three more and Caltagirone two.
