HARDEEVILLE, S.C. - Thiago Rocha's goal with just under 15 minutes remaining gave the St. Thomas (Fla.) University men's soccer team a 3-2 victory over the Savannah College of Art and Design Wednesday (Sept. 3) evening at the SCAD Athletics Complex.
The Bobcats improved to 2-0-0 overall and to 2-0-0 in The Sun Conference while the 25th-ranked Bees slipped to 0-2-1 and 0-1-0. SCAD returns to action Monday (Sept. 8) when they face the University of Maine at Machias in a 7 p.m. match in Machias, Maine.
With the game tied at 2, Rocha, who scored a goal earlier in the match, collected a loose ball at the top of the box and kicked it past the outstretched arms of SCAD goalkeeper
