WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Ryan Gadhue turned in
Dan Fadida's corner kick with 2:30 remaining in the first overtime to give the Savannah College of Art and Design men's soccer team a 1-0 The Sun Conference victory over Northwood (Fla.) University Sunday (Sept. 28) afternoon.
SCAD improved to 4-4-2 overall and to 2-2-1 in the league while the Seahawks fell to 5-2-0 and 2-2-0. SCAD hosts Embry-Riddle (Fla.) University in a 7 p.m. conference match Saturday (Oct. 4) at the SCAD Athletics Complex.
The Bees ended the match when Fadida took the short corner and took a shot that was deflected by Northwood goalkeeper Andy Robertson. Gadhue collected the loose ball and was able to poke home his fifth goal of the season.
