SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Savannah College of Art and Design rallied in singles play to defeat Brenau University 6-3 in a battle of nationally ranked women's tennis teams Sunday (March 2) afternoon at the Bacon Park Tennis Courts.
The fifth-ranked Bees remained unbeaten at 7-0 while the 11th-ranked Golden Tigers fell to 3-3. SCAD will take a break for finals before heading to California for spring break. SCAD will return to action March 15 when they face No. 10 California Baptist University in a 10 a.m. Pacific time match in Palm Springs, Calif.
Brenau took a 2-1 lead after doubles play as the Golden Tigers picked up wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 flights. SCAD took the match when they recorded wins in five of the six singles. The Bees clinched the match when
