HARDEEVILLE, S.C. -
Marc Jeanty's goal in the 64th minute was the difference as the Warner Southern College men's soccer team edged the Savannah College of Art and Design 2-1 in a conference match Friday (Oct. 17) evening at the SCAD Athletics Complex.

The Royals improved to 9-4-1 overall and remained in first place in The Sun Conference with a 6-2-1 ledger. SCAD fell to 4-6-2 and 2-4-1. The Bees return to action Sunday (Oct. 19) with a 1 p.m. league match against Northwood (Fla.) University at the SCAD Athletics Complex.

The Bees took a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute on a header by Ryan Gadhue. Richard Hurlin served the ball to Miles Gallagher who crossed it to Gadhue at the far post for his sixth goal of the season.

Warner Southern got the equalizer with just over five minutes before halftime when Devon Ellis converted a ricochet near the top of the box into a goal to knot the score at 1.
