Holy Innocents' Episcopal School Athletics

SCAD golfer Alazne Urizar was selected as the SCAD "Student-Artist-Athlete Player of the Week" for May 20-26.

Urizar was part of the SCAD Women's Golf Team that took part in the NAIA National Women's Golf Championship in Lincoln, Nebraska this past week. The tournament was a 4-round competition that concluded Saturday, May 25.

Urizar shot four rounds under 80 (76, 77, 76, 78) at nationals. Her play was key to the Lady Bees finishing in 9^th place among the field of 27 colleges. Her scores also placed her 7^th among the 141 golfers in the final championship standings.

In the classroom Urizar carries a GPA of 3.6 in her Architecture major. Congratulations to Alazne Urizar for the Student-Artist-Athlete honor.

This will be the last Student-Artist-Athlete Player of the Week honor until the 2013-14 season begins in September.
