Holy Innocents' Episcopal School Athletics

SCAD women's golfer Alazne Urizer was selected as the SCAD "Student-Artist-Athlete Player of the Week" for April 22-28.

Urizer shot two rounds of 75 to win the individual tournament title at The Sun Conference Tournament Championship last week in Daytona Beach, Florida.  This is the second year that Urizar has won the TSC individual title.  Urizar is currently playing at #1 on a SCAD Team ranked #1 in the NAIA.
 
Because of her match play in the tournament and her consistent play during the season The Sun Conference awarded Urizar with the 2013 TSC Women's Golf “Player of the Year” award.  Urizar also garnered TSC All-Conference and Academic All-Conference recognitions. 
 
In the classroom Urizar carries a GPA of 3.6 in her Architecture major.  Congratulations to Alazne Urizar for the Student-Artist-Athlete honor.
 
Other worthy considerations for the “Student-Artist-Athlete Player of the Week” honor were Kreyton Polka (M. Lacrosse), Shelton Polka (M. Lacrosse), and Sofia Molinaro (W. Golf).
