Holy Innocents' Episcopal School Athletics

SCAD Women’s tennis player Maria Barragan has been selected as Student-Artist- Athlete Player of the Week for March 11-17.
 
Barragan played in four matches this past week and recorded two singles wins against Ave Maria University and Northwood University, 6-0, 6-0 and 7-5, 6-3.  She and her doubles partner won 8-1 against Ave Maria, and lost 5-8 against Northwood.  Barragan won 3 of her 4 competitions.  Barragan is a part of SCAD’s tennis team that is ranked 4^th in the NAIA.  Because of her success on the court Barragan was also selected as The Sun Conference "Player of the Week" on March 18th.

Barragan is majoring in Architecture where she carries a 3.86 GPA.
