Holy Innocents' Episcopal School Athletics

After earning three All-Conference accolades last week, Caroline Lepesant, has been named Reed Publications Female Artist-Athlete Player of the Week.

Lepesant began the meet with a fourth place finish in the 1,000 yard free to earn SCAD’s first all-conference award of the meet. Lepesant touched the wall in 10:12.74. She followed that up with a third place finish in the 500 free with a time of 4:58.55. That time was a 15 second improvement over her previous season-best and currently ranks as the top time in the NAIA.

In her final event of the meet, Lepesant finished third in the 1650 free hitting the wall in 17:02.90. That time was a 41 second improvement over her previous season-best and currently ranks as the second fastest time in the NAIA. It is also three seconds faster than what she swam to win the NAIA national title in 2013.

Lepesant helped the Bees to a fifth place finish at the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships.
