After finishing eighth at the Sand Shark Invitational, Callum Drake has been named Reed Publications Male Artist-Athlete Player of the Week.

Drake crossed the line in 25:21.22 to earn his fourth top-ten finish of the season. That time was the fastest by any SCAD runner this season and is the ninth fastest time in program history.

Drake’s performance helped the Bees finish third overall. Drake was also the top Sun Conference finisher at that meet.

This is Drake’s second Reed Publications Artist-Athlete of the Week award. He also won the award on September 21.
