After winning the USA/ITA Regional women’s tennis singles title, Camille Gbaguidi has been named Reed Publications Female Artist-Athlete Player of the Week.

Gbaguidi, the top seed of the tournament, defeated Julia Albuquerque 6-1, 6-3 in the finals to capture the title. Gbaguidi won each of her five matches in straight sets and allowed a total of 12 points combined in those matches.

Gbaguidi teamed up with Paige Murdock to reach the semi-finals of the doubles draw.
