After scoring seven points in SCAD’s 5-0 win over Truett-McConnell, Meadhbh Deeney has been named the Reed Publications Female Artist-Athlete Player of the Week.

In that game, Deeney assisted the Bees second goal to Laerke Michaelsen in the 48^th minute. Three minutes later Deeney ran a give and go with Michele Treinen for her first goal of the game and give the Bees a 3-0 lead. She would score twice more to finish the day with SCAD’s first hat trick of the season.

For the season, Deeney has tallied three goals, four assists, and ten points.
