SCAD Soccer player Jordan Trinci-Lyne was selected as the SCAD “Student-Artist-Athlete Player of the Week” for Nov. 10-16.
On November 13, Jordan Trinci-Lyne was honored at The Sun Conference Men’s Soccer Tournament Banquet by being selected as First Team All-Conference.
The following day the SCAD men’s team took the pitch in a semifinal game against Embry-Riddle to earn the opportunity to go to the title round in The Sun Conference Championships.
The Bees eventually won the game 1-0 in overtime on a shot by Trinci-Lyne, thereby qualifying SCAD for the finals. His goal was his team-leading ninth goal of the season - six better than his closest teammate.
The Bees were unable to come away with the conference title, but Trinci-Lyne ended the season leading the Bees in games played (18), games started (18), goals (9), shots taken (49), shots on goal (27), and game winning shots (7). Trinci-Lyne is a junior, majoring in advertising with a minor in graphic design.
Other worthy considerations were Alex Jamroz and Fernando Zeledon (M. Soccer), and Meadhbh Deeney (W. Soccer).
Congratulations to Jordan Trinci-Lyne for the Student-Artist-Athlete Player of the Week honor. This is the 1st time that Trinci-Lyne has won this award.
