SCAD Women’s Golf player, Sofia Molinaro, was selected as the recipient of SCAD's Student-Artist-Athlete "Player of the Week" for October 27-November 2.
 
Sofia Molinaro participated in the 2014 W. Golf National Preview in Pooler, Ga.  Molinaro came into the tournament ranked 14th nationally and third in the Sun Conference. Her performance in the tournament helped SCAD to a second place finish among the 16 teams participating.  Molinaro finished 2nd in the individual title among the 87 golfers in the tournament.  She was one of only two golfers who finished the 2-round tournament with a score of even par or better.
 
Molinaro was selected to the all-tournament team for her performance.
 
Molinaro is a Fashion Marketing and Management major at SCAD.
